Test Prep Course

Registration Form

At DuPree College Prep, we have been helping students prepare for college entrance exams since 2002. Our class has an average improvement of 142 points. Serious students often find their scores increase 200 points or more, and the all-time valedictorian’s score increased 500 points!  One student, after completing the course, made perfect scores on both the SAT and ACT. The individualized tutoring means the course is tailored for your testing style and goals.

All Pre-Tests, Post-Tests, class examples, and homework questions come from real SAT Tests prepared by the College Board to give students maximum exposure to the types of questions they will see on test day.

Classes:

Classes meet six times in a group setting; including one Pre-Test, one Post-Test, and three lecture sessions. There is also a one hour Post-Test group review session right before the real SAT test after the classes are completed.

Students also meet one-on-one with tutors for four one-hour sessions to review homework. One-on-one sessions are taught by specialists in math and in reading and writing.

During the class session, there is a two hour meeting with the student and parents and Dr. DuPree. At that meeting we will analyze pretest results, preview the course, develop individualized test taking strategy, and answer college planning questions.

Scheduling:

Please be sure to choose the prep class that is closest to your planned exam date. Prep classes are most effective when they are freshest. Check your schedule of tournaments, competitions, plays, etc. for the entire year before deciding which test(s) to take.

Class Registration:

To register for the class, please contact us and follow this link for the Registration Form.  Once we receive the form and check, we will reserve your student’s seat in the class.  Please be aware that the classes fill quickly, and your child’s seat is NOT reserved until we have the registration form and check in hand.  The cost of the course includes ten hours of group instruction, six hours of individual instruction, and two books.  Please email as soon as possible to jean@dupreecollegeprep.com if your student plans to take the course, so we can make sure to have materials on hand for him or her.

Test Registration:

Please be aware that you must register to take the test at www.collegeboard.com.  We suggest you also sign up for the ACT test closest to the end of classes at www.actstudent.org because much of our preparation will apply to both tests, and one test often fits a student better than the other.  Save each login and password; you’ll need them again.

Investment:

The total cost of the DuPree College Prep Test Prep Course is $850. This includes ten hours of group instruction, six hours of individual coaching, and two books. Please download and fill out the Registration Form and send with your check, payable to Jean DuPree, 280 Millbrook Village Drive, Tyrone, Georgia 30290.
